This is when the playoffs really start.
The divisional round of the playoff games start today, and will culminate tomorrow. The first game is, of course, the Seattle Seahawks taking on the Atlanta Falcons at 4:30 p.m., or right now, the second game today is the Houston Texans playing the New England Patriots at 8:15 p.m. Tomorrow will be the Green Bay Packers and the Dallas Cowboys at 4:40 p.m., and the divisional round wraps up with the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Kansas City Chiefs at 8:20 p.m.
The Seahawks do not have the same defense as they had three years ago, especially with Earl Thomas out, but they still have Russell Wilson and those boys. The Falcons have an explosive offense with Julio Jones and Matty Ice, so it will be a fun game to watch.
The Texans have a quarterback situation, specifically, they have Brock Osweiler at quarterback, an unproven, high-priced quarterback. They do however, have the no. 1 defense. But the Patriots are the Patriots, especially with Tom Brady, who is at least a top three quarterback of all-time.
The Packers lost Jordy Nelson, but they still have Aaron Rodgers, the hottest quarterback in the NFL. The Cowboys, however, are different. Dak Prescott is different from Tony Romo. Fans don’t know if he will make the big mistake like Romo always did. It will be a great match-up nonetheless.
This game was moved back due to inclement weather in Kansas City. The Chiefs have a terrific defense, a great coach in Andy Reid and an x-factor in blazer Tyreek Hill. The Steelers, though, have Big Ben, Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell. These guys contribute to an explosive offense, so it will be a great match-up, too.
