What made you become a fitness model?
Being as blessed I am genetically, and being physically active since I could remember. I am also constantly working out. Everyone I knew began to tell me that I look too good. That I should do something with it. Not to waste what I’ve built so far. After hearing that so many times, over and over again, I told my girlfriend who is a photographer “let’s do it!” She had been trying for some time now to take pictures of me. So I finally reached a point and said what could it hurt. Now I’m trying to see where it takes me.
Describe a typical work out for you?
A typical work out for me is very intense. I can go from 1 to 2 times of cardio before and after. All depending on what muscle I’m focused on for that day. I played football and still have hopes and dreams of playing pro. So my work ethic is second to none. A couple years ago I to prep myself for CFL free agent camps, which came around every year, just to try and make a roster. I knew I couldn’t grow taller but I could definitely put on some size to grab some attention. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite work yet. But the hard work in the gym is definitely paying off in other ways.
What does your eating habits consist of?
My eating habits are quite different. I have a fast metabolism so I use that to my advantage but I don’t take it for granted. Most of the time, I try to eat the healthiest option available to me. Being that eating healthy is not the easiest thing to do financially, you kind of go with what you find. I take eating something is better than eating nothing. You just have to work twice as hard during workouts. So I’m definitely still building up to where I want to be when it comes to my eating habits, however, I know exactly what I should be eating and how much of it. I just haven’t conquered that challenge yet.
How often do you have to work out to be in the shape that you’re in?
Well, I work out as often as possible. Religiously six days a week. I get a seventh if I get the time. It’s just fun for me. However, it all depends on the person, their goals, and their body type. You put all those into consideration and that will tell you how much times someone should be working out to get in their best shape possible. Also with flag football twice a week, I get to work out a lot.
What can we look forward from you in the future?
Hopefully on one of the NFL 32 teams rosters. Yeah, that’s a pipe dream. But seriously, hopefully being stable in the fitness industry and changing lives for the better. Being the ultimate reason for someone’s success in fitness. Not a bad way to be remembered.
