The upcoming feature-length film, When the Well Runs Dry, will make its world premiere at Atlanta’s prestigious BronzeLens Film Festival. When The Well Runs Dry tells the story of the Winston brothers, who after the loss of their mother, must learn what it means to be brothers, all the while finding their new normal.

When The Well Runs Dry will premiere on Friday, August 24th at 10 a.m. at 265 Peachtree Center Ave NE, Atlanta, GA. Immediately following the premiere there will be a Q&A with the cast moderated by the film festival.

A week after the burial of their mother (Valerie Winston), who died suddenly from a tragic car accident, the Winston boys must try to pick up the pieces and get their life together. Maurice finds himself the sole guardian of a 17 year-old Marcus, who is dead set on ruining his own life with his poor decisions. All the while, Maurice has to learn to deal with the loss of his mother, while staying strong for his younger brother.

Having been the head of the household since he was a kid, Maurice finds his new circumstances less than ideal and insurmountable without his mother. Knowing it was always his mother’s dream to get Marcus to college and make something of himself, Maurice makes it his mission to see his brother through these trying times; after all, they’re all they have left in this world. In the darkest times for the Winston boys, they find out that there’s nothing stronger than the brotherhood they share, the values their mother raised them with and the love they have for one another.
