Talk of Regina King's directorial debut of One Night in Miami has been going around since its film festival premiere.

One Night in Miami is based on the Kemp Powers stageplay, which tells the timeless tale of a historic night in 1964 when Muhammad Ali (Eli Gorgee), Malcolm X (Kingsley Ben-Adir), Sam Cooke (Leslie Odom Jr.) and Jim Brown (Aldis Hodge) spend one night together that highlights their individual vital roles in the civil rights movement and cultural upheaval of the 60s.
