Digital Creators Were Celebrated and Informed at the 2022 Futuro Digital Conference
Alongside American Airlines, The Quintessential Gentleman helped kick off the New York Latino Film Festival at this year's Futuro Digital Conference. The day-long event brought together some of the top digital creators and those behind the scenes to offer insights on how to create your own path in the ever-changing world of technology.
The Futuro Digital Conference has been the premier digital destination for Latin, LatinX, and Black creatives to have their voices amplified and share a space for community building, networking, and business development for years now. With a mission to bring conversations from top thought-leaders, executives and influencers in the digital space, this year's conference gave attendees the ability to take their careers to new heights.
The event began with a mental health conversation between advocate Jarred Denzel and The Quintessential Gentleman founder Eric K. Thomas. The insightful talk went deep into how Jarred got to where he is now as he spoke to the audience about the positive and negative effects of social media.
The second panel brought together industry professionals who has helped some of our favorite online personalities, actors, and artists create the careers of their dreams. "Level Up Squad Goals" panelists included Myqsuccess (Talent Manager at T.H.I.S. Group), Johnny Donovan (Publicist at J Donovan Publicity), Derrian Perry ( CEO & Founder of I Am Phreshy), Dennis Gonzalez (Talent Manager at The Green Room). The men on this panel discussed why a team matters and also made sure the audience knew that the work starts with them. A powerful Q&A led to many guests connecting for the next phase of their careers.
The panelists on the third panel did not hold back. Maleni Cruz (Social Media Influencer), KenStarrrz (Social Media Influencers), NuevaYol (Social Media Influencer), Stacey (Stace Face) Wade (Social Media Influencer). The "Taking Center Stage Comedy" panel brought the laughs while diving deep into their viral moments, their brand, and how they navigate comedy through negativity and backlash.
Nico Machlitt (Associate Manager of Digital Marketing at Vevo), Stephanie Diaz Mattos (Head of Music Supervision at Raedio), and Dion Baez (Artist Marketing Manager at YouTubeMusic) helped close out our conference during the "60 Seconds to Stardom" panel. Our panelists gave lessons on how to turn social media likes into plays, mainstream versusYouStream, and mobilizing your fanbase copyright or copy.
The night ended with a reception, where our guest had the chance to network and enjoy music and food, all celebrating the space to be themselves and to inspire.
