The Emerging 100 of Atlanta Welcomes 27 New Members Ready to Serve


The Emerging 100 of Atlanta
(E100 Atlanta) welcomes 27 new members to their organization, solidifying their commitment to Atlanta’s youth. The youth-serving organization ended 2022 with the induction of their new cohort of mentors and community leaders, readying The Emerging 100 of Atlanta to serve.

“Definitely honored to be a part of such a great organization and even more honored to be able to work with so many great men who hold high values and care so much about the community and our city,” said Jarvarus Gresham a 2022 inductee.

With a mission directed at enhancing the mentoring and tutoring programs of the 100 Black Men of Atlanta, Inc. and to serve as role models to the entire community, E100 Atlanta is committed to supporting high school seniors and college-aged youth as they work to achieve set goals and become successful.

“Honored to be inducted into the @emerging100atl class of 2022 alongside my 26 fellow brothers,” commented Olatunde Oshikoya via Instagram. “The opportunity to engage and positively impact the city of Atlanta is one that I welcome with open arms.”

Many of the new members expressed their excitement to join this impactful organization and are ready to support their community. “Honored to be a part and energized to build with the organization,” commented Christian Bonner, new inductee.

Since 2010, The Emerging 100 Atlanta has partnered with young Black professionals across Georgia to provide invaluable support to the young Black men of Atlanta. “Our members represent an array of professions and are leaders in their respective fields,” The Emerging 100 Atlanta stated on their website. “We are high-achieving young men, aged 25-35, committed to the academic and vocational success of our youth at B.E.S.T. Academy High School and the Collegiate 100 while serving the Atlanta community as a whole.”

To date, The Emerging 100 Atlanta organization has awarded $370,000 in scholarships to 44 students in Atlanta. The group also hosts community-centered programs that support under-served communities, students, and young professionals across Atlanta.
