True Religion Returns To Brick And Mortar, Opens Retail Store In Atlanta

Since 2002, True Religion has been marking its impact since the brand launched in Los Angeles. It quickly grew in popularity in the music industry, specifically in Hip-Hop, as it became a common mention in many rap lyrics. Even in 2023, rappers like Sexxy Red are still mentioning the brand as a fashion item that you should aspire to wear.

Last Thursday, Cumberland Mall in Atlanta became the epicenter of style and fashion as True Religion unveiled its new retail location with a ribbon-cutting event. The event marked not only the opening of a 2000-square-foot retail space but also a symbolic homecoming for True Religion in the heart of Atlanta.

Atlanta turned out in full force, demonstrating the deep-rooted love for the brand in the city. True Religion has a history of successful collaborations with Atlanta-based artists, including Quavo, Latto, 2 Chainz and more, making the brand an integral part of Atlanta's fashion culture.

True Religion CEO Michael Buckley was on site to officially open the new Cumberland Mall location. Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey, Former NBA player Paul Millsap, Xscape's Tiny Harris and ALL American's Jayln Hall all came out to the ribbon-cutting ceremony to support the brand.

"I remember, I had to have my True Religion jeans. And also my daughter Noelle would always be hitting me up like 'mom, mom.' She would want like five or six pairs. I would be like wait a minute. But you had to have your True Religion jeans and from a fashion standpoint, I'm just so excited to see the revival of true religion," Cynthia shares on the red carpet.

Atlanta holds a special place in True Religion's heart. It's not just a market; it's a homecoming. The brand has consistently supported the spirit of the East Coast through its collaborations with Atlanta-based artists. Atlanta, with its diverse and fashion-forward culture, is the perfect backdrop for True Religion's innovative and iconic apparel. This new store marks True Religion's first retail location since 2019, and the brand couldn't have chosen a more fitting city for its return.
