Producer Camper Takes Us Behind The Scenes As He Gets Ready For The Grammys
Uber producer Camper adds another Grammy nomination to his list of accolades.
His latest nomination for CoCo Jones' hit single ICU comes on the heels of his 2018 win for working on H.E.R.'s self-titled ground-breaking debut album. With over 100 million records sold and an unstoppable momentum, Camper, often regarded as the maestro of new school R&B production, is gearing up for an exceptional 2024.
In addition to releasing several new tracks with a variety of artists, Camper is preparing to unveil his compilation album, CAMPILATION. The highly-anticipated album will feature an impressive lineup, including John Legend, Brandy, Ne-Yo, Jill Scott, Kelly Rowland, Ty Dolla $ign, Tank, Ari Lennox, Syd and Ro James.
Before the busy season of 2024, Camper celebrated his success with a star-studded event during Grammy weekend. The event served as a tribute to Camper's outstanding achievements, particularly his recent Grammy nomination for producing Jones' chart-topping hit.
The star-studded affair with Hollywood's elite in attendance including Angela Bassett, Tasha Smith, Kehlani, Maeta, and Tank.
It's been almost 15 years since Camper inked his inaugural publishing deal with Sony EMI. The following year marked a pivotal moment in his career as he co-produced Marvin & Chardonnay by rapper Big Sean, securing his first number 1 on the US Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop charts.
The hit-maker has been Grammy-nominated over 20 times. Camper shows no signs of slowing down as The Quintessential Gentleman witnessed as we captured his time getting ready for this year's Grammys.
