The Rock, Chris Evans Team Up To Find A MissiNG Santa In 'Red One'

Christmas has come early this year with the release of the trailer for the upcoming movie Red One.

Amazon MGM Studios presents Red One as an action-adventure comedy starring Chris Evans, Dwayne Johnson and J.K. Simmons as Saint Nick.

Here’s the story, after Santa Claus (code name: Red One) is kidnapped, the North Pole's Head of Security (Johnson) must team up with the world's most infamous bounty hunter (Evans) in a globe-trotting, action-packed mission to save Christmas.

In the trailer, we can see some of the foes the duo faces, like Krampus, Frosty and The Evil Snowmen, and a giant horned monster. We also see Johnson take an ordinary Hot Wheels car from a toy store and turn it into a full-sized Chevy Corvette using some space-aged Christmas technology. “You don’t have a Wonder Woman action figure, do you?” Evans asks the cashier while leaving the store. “Not how it works, come on!” Johnson barks in response.

Other cast members include Lucy Liu, Kiernan Shipka, Bonnie Hunt, Kristofer Hivju, Nick Kroll and Wesley Kimmel.

Jake Kasdan, director of the Jumanji reboots, helms the film. Chris Morgan wrote the script based on a story by Hiram Garcia. Producers include Hiram Garcia, Danny Garcia and Melvin Mar.
