50 Cent Is Producing A Docuseries On Diddy's Abuse Allegations At Netflix

Netflix has greenlit a controversial docuseries produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, detailing the serious allegations against Sean “Diddy” Combs, according to Variety.

The series is being directed by Alexandria Stapleton and is already underway, looking into charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and violent abuse.

50 Cent and Stapleton shared in a statement to Variety, “This is a story with significant human impact. It is a complex narrative spanning decades, not just the headlines or clips seen so far. We remain steadfast in our commitment to give a voice to the voiceless and to present authentic and nuanced perspectives. While the allegations are disturbing, we urge all to remember that Sean Combs’ story is not the full story of hip-hop and its culture. We aim to ensure that individual actions do not overshadow the culture’s broader contributions.”

The series, produced by 50 Cent’s G-Unit Film & Television along with Stapleton’s House of Nonfiction, wants to provide a platform for the alleged victims.

50 Cent’s move to produce the series follows lawsuits against Combs, initiated by ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, among others, which gained significant media attention. 50 Cent has expressed his intention to use proceeds from the documentary to support victims of sexual assault.
