Edmond Newton is a designer whose creative impulses extend far beyond the runways. Deeply rooted in fashion, Newton is also a proud Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. member and a passionate advocate for expressing one's life experiences through art. He is driven by a mission to use his talents for good, molding them into whatever form necessary to make a positive impact.

Story or experience that defined his journey as a Black man: One experience that defines me as a Black man is my continuous quest for beautiful life experiences that I can then challenge myself to translate into different art forms for others to enjoy and vicariously live through. I have an internal understanding that “this” is the earth's body that has been provided for me by the all-mighty Creator. So in my journey, I attempt to allow it to be used for good in the necessary shapes, forms, or fashions.

Dear Black Man… I would first like to take the time to just say, thank you! Thank You for whatever contributions that you have made for the betterment of the world. You are a creation and an inspiration. The ever-flowing energies have traveled through space and time and aligned. You are a star…Shine!!!
