5 Reasons you Will Love the 2018 Ford Mustang

One word to describe the new 2018 Ford Mustang is CUSTOM. Ford is giving us Ford Mustang lovers the chance to make our favorite sports car our own with multiple ways of changing the look and feel. During the Ford Drive event I could not stop hopping into the new Mustang to feel more power and see more technology. Here are the 5 features I loved about the Ford Mustang.

Design

The new Mustang features a more athletic and more modern exterior design. They have re-designed hoods, newly designed front fascia, new headlights, and new splitters for improved handling and improved fuel economy. The front end of the car is a little bit lower than the previous model.

LED Lights

In past models there was a mixture of different technologies of lights. With the new model there are LED projector headlamps, LED signature lamps, LED tail lamps and LED park turn lamps with integrated fog lamps.

Quiet Start

When I use to live in Atlanta, I use to go to work early in the morning. When I started my mustang it was always so loud and I know my neighbors could hear when I was leaving the house. With the Quiet Start function I can set my exhaust to start in quiet mode during specific hours. So when I am coming home late and don’t want to wake the rest of the community I can have quiet mode set between 11 pm and 9 am.

Speed

Due to the new different modes driving, the Mustang GT can go from 0 to 60 in 4 seconds. The four different driving modes are Normal, Sport, Track, and Drag Strip mode. Each mode holds a different characteristic in the transmission and shifting gets quicker and quicker.

12-inch LCD Screen

This is by far my favorite feature. From being able to change the display of the screen to being able to change the color of the items inside the screen the new 12-inch LCD all-digital instrument cluster is beautiful! With each different driving modes you get a different view of the dashboard.
