Adrian Peterson plans to play Sunday
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson said he plans to play Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. Peterson made the announcement Friday afternoon, during an interview on Dash Radio.
“I’m gonna go ahead and go this week,” Peterson said. “I’m getting back out there and looking forward to joining my team as we continue on this journey to make the playoffs.”
The Vikings, who sit at 2nd place in the NFC North with a 7-6 record, have gained less than 75 yards per game without Peterson.
The 2015 leading rusher, tore his right lateral meniscus during the Vikings Sept. 18 game.
