Allen Iverson Signs On With New BIG3 Basketball League
There’s no question when there is the answer.
That’s right, the answer is back, and he is about to ball so hard just like he did in the 2001 NBA Finals against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reported that Iverson has agreed to not only be a player in the BIG3 three-on-three basketball league, but he will be a coach, too.
Thus, Iverson will join seven other former NBA stars, including Chauncey Billups, Rashard Lewis, Kenyon Martin, Jason Williams, Stephen Jackson and Jermaine O’Neal.
The BIG3—ventured by none other than Ice Cube—will also have Roger Mason serve as commissioner and president of the basketball league. Mason is a former deputy executive director of the National Basketball Players Association.
Wojnarwoski is also reporting that each team will have five players which includes team captains and co-captains.
The official press conference is today, and the league will likely kickoff in June.
