Carmen Marc Valvo is one of the rare fashion designers who are truly household names. Most often associated with evening-wear and high-end cocktail dresses, he’s been dressing women in his instantly recognizable style for almost 30 years. He has dressed many of our favorite celebrities including Mary J. Blige, Vanessa Williams, Angela Basset, Beyonce, Queen Latifah, Katie Couric, Leona Lewis, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Kate Winslet, Eva Longoria, and the list goes on. In addition to being a super talented fashion designer, Carmen Marc Valvo is also very passionate about philanthropy.

Concluding an epic three-day shoot for his upcoming S/S 2018 campaign, I caught up with the legendary designer at his majestic Bridgehampton getaway. During the interview, we were able to explore a number of fashion topics as well as 3 things all men should have in their closets.
