Drake Reportedly in Talks with Adidas

Since Drake signed a deal with Jordan Brand back in 2013, we’ve seen him release the OVO x Air Jordan 10, OVO x Air Jordan 12, and most recently the OVO x Air Jordan 8, along with matching apparel. So with that being said, things should be going well in the partnership right? Things may not be all that they seem because the Canadian rapper/singer is reportedly in talks with German sneaker/apparel giant Adidas.

According to Sole Collector, Drake may be, “looking for an exit and a new deal that would afford him more creative control.” Now the brand that would definitely offer him that is Adidas if their deals with both Pharrell and Kanye West are any indication.

Now the reports that Drake “is in talks” with the Adidas about a potential deal, even though specifics aren’t available. Could this deal be Drizzy playing hardball with The Swoosh? Or would he really leave for the Three Stripes? Can he even leave according to his contract?
