Get Ready for the Toughest Mudder

Presents, egg nog, caroling and … face plants in the mud? Viewers can start a new holiday tradition this Christmas Day by watching ultra-endurance athletes battle the most epic obstacles ever created in the annual World’s Toughest Mudder special on CBS.

For the first time, coverage of World’s Toughest Mudder can be seen on CBS on Christmas Day, Sunday, December 25 (2:00 PM EST ). Viewers will be on the edge of their seats up until the last minute to find out which male, female, and team won the championships and claimed top prizes of more than $170,000.

From the creative masterminds behind the global sensation of Tough Mudder events, World’s Toughest Mudder is an extreme 24-hour race set on a grueling five-mile looped course, featuring 20 challenging obstacles on each lap. More than 1,500 athletes from a around the world gather outside Las Vegas to fight through unpredictable desert terrain, weather conditions, and the most daunting and infamous obstacles ever created.
