Netflix’s ‘Stranger Things’ has a return date

Early Tuesday, Netflix decided it was a good time to drop a bombshell on the internet. Thankfully, it was not about the canceling of a show but of bringing one of their best back. Thier hit 80’s Sci-Fi show ‘Stranger Things‘ will return October 27th.

While it is only 3 months away, it’s never too early to rewatch the first season. Furthermore, if you’re unfamiliar with the show, now’s a perfect time to check it out before it’s too late…

For those who have been living in the ‘upside down,’ this is One of Netflix’s most popular shows. Set in a small town following four boys and their families as the struggle with the disappearance of one of the boys.  Along the way, a mysterious girl shows up and has some answers although there is much more to her than meets the eye.

Between stealing Eggo waffles and hiding from a suspicious guy with Silver hair the show taps into many interesting plot points. Not to mention the show visually is simply remarkable.

The John Carpenter style filmmaking is a nice touch and shout-out to the genre’s founders. This shows success is what allows Netflix to invest in other properties and further diversifying their catalog. Whether you dig it or you don’t the return of ‘Stranger Things,’ just means more memes. It’s up to you if you want to understand them or be out of the loop.
