Ray Allen announces his retirement
After an NBA career that spanned 18 years, yielding two championships, sharp-shooter Ray Allen announced he is officially retiring. Allen, 41, wrote in a letter to his younger self on the Player’s Tribune that he is completely at peace with himself.
He is a 10-time All-Star, career leader in three-pointers made during the regular season and playoff three-pointers made.
