Russell Westbrook Unveils His New Signature Shoe
Last night, Russell Westbrook unveiled his new signature shoe against the Lakers. This past summer, Westbrook signed a deal with the Jordan Brand so a sneaker release was bound to happen.
What a blessing!!! I could never imagine a kid like myself with his OWN shoe!! I’m still in shock lol. Huge thanks to @Jumpman23 for the opportunity and can’t wait to show y’all more flavors! #whynot pic.twitter.com/1YGWtC3gCP — Russell Westbrook (@russwest44) January 4, 2018
The shoe, named Why Not Zer0.1, is his first performance shoe with the brand. That outlook is captured by a personal mantra, “Why Not?” It defines how Westbrook plays, how he dresses and now, especially with his first signature performance shoe, the Jordan Why Not Zer0.1, how he shares his story.
The shoe comes in two versions, the “Mirror Image” and the “2 Way” color way.
The Jordan Why Not Zer0.1 will initially drop on January 15, when the “Mirror Image” releases in limited quantities. Then the “2-Way” colorway hits stores on February 15. The silhouette will retail for $125.
