The Long Awaited Return of the Chevy Blazer
After nearly 15 years since the last Chevy Blazer made its final appearance on showroom floors, the Chevy Legend has returned newer and sleeker than before. The new blazer shows up with some very noticeable changes one being the unibody frame that it’s now sitting on versus the old full body frame that it once had. It’s not an uncommon as such legendary competitors such as the Ford Explorer and Nissan Pathfinder have both made the switch.
The blazer doesn’t cater to the adventurous off-roaders but appeals to the stylish person who enjoys the value of a 5 seater SUV. Chevy is offering 2 engines options, one being a 2.5-liter four-cylinder bringing 193 horsepower and 188 pound-feet of torque which will be the base engine. For those craving more power, a 3.6-liter V-6 with 305 horses and 269 pound-feet that offers an estimated tow capacity of 4,500 pounds. Both engines work with a 9-speed automatic transmission in front- or all-wheel drive configurations. What do you think of the new Blazer?
The 2019 Chevy Blazer starts at $28,000. Check your local Chevy dealer today for a test drive.
