The North Face opens first global flagship store in NYC

The North Face continues its retail expansion in the U.S. with a new store opening in New York City. 

The North Face, the global leader in outdoor apparel, equipment, and footwear, announced Wednesday that they will be opening of its first-ever flagship store in New York City on iconic Fifth Avenue. The new 20,000 square foot store, located at 510 Fifth Ave., offers an immersive brand experience for customers unlike anything the brand has created before as it brings the beauty of outdoor exploration in, while inspiring customers to push their limits outside. An interactive climbing wall has also been added for your enjoyment.

October 26, 2016 marked the 50th anniversary of The North Face founding. The company opened its first retail store in San Francisco on this date in 1966. A global lifestyle brand seen on mountains and city streets alike, The North Face continues to push limits and challenge the status quo, which has been their mission since 1966.
