Thunder, Victor Oladipo agree to multi-year, $84 million extension
Victor Oladipo has reached a four-year, $84 million contract extension with the Oklahoma City Thunder, according to the Vertical’s Shams Charania.
Oladipo was seeking a max deal next summer totaling over $24 million a season or $102 million deal.
This is a win-win situation for Oklahoma City, who is reportedly close to a four-year $100 million deal with center, Steven Adams.
Last June, the Thunder acquired Oladipo from the Orlando Magic in a trade that involved Serge Ibaka and rookie Domantas Sabonis.
During his four-year career, the guard has averaged 15.9 points, 4.3 rebounds and four assists. In three games this season, Oladipo is averaging 17 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists.
Oladipo was the no. 2 overall pick in the 2013 draft.
